Michael Mansfield QC has been well known beyond the confines of the legal profession for decades – the great defender of our generation. A fierce supporter of human rights and Involved in some of the most extraordinary and important cases in recent history. He is also the author of several books including: Memoirs of a Radical Lawyer.  

He is head of Nexus Chambers in Lincoln’s Inn, London.

In a fascinating interview, he takes us through some of the highs and lows of his extraordinary career including bringing a private prosecution against the murderers of Stephen Lawrence, defending Barry George, death threats, weaknesses in expert evidence and his early influences.
